Bluffton Buddy APP

Celebrate Bluffton has created a new interactive APP for residents of and visitors to Bluffton to experience Bluffton’s history, culture, and traditions. The APP launched in July 2016 and is available to download for free in the APP Store for Apple IOS and Google Play for Android. South Carolina Humanities supported this project with a Mini Grant in January 2016.

Located in Beaufort County, Bluffton was founded in 1852, though it was first settled as early as 1728. The Bluffton Buddy self-paced audio tour includes information about a variety or historic sites, people, and events in Bluffton, including the Church of the Cross, the Bluffton Oyster Company, General Thomas F. Drayton, and the Bluffton Movement.

Celebrate Bluffton connects people to Bluffton’s rich historical and cultural past. For more information about Celebrate Bluffton or the Bluffton Buddy APP, please contact 843-781-7390 or visit www.celebratebluffton.com.
