Host Sites for Hometown Teams Exhibit Announced

BaseballSC Humanities is happy to announce that 6 small communities in South Carolina will have the opportunity to host the traveling Smithsonian exhibit Hometown Teams: How Sports Shape America in 2015. Hometown Teams explores how sports reflect the trials and triumphs of the American experience.

SC Humanities offered an application opportunity to small museums, arts centers, libraries, and other community venues in South Carolina cities with fewer than 20,000 residents to host this exciting exhibit about American sports. Six communities were selected from among the many applicants, and the successful host sites and tour schedule are outlined below.
