Become a Friend of The Humanities CouncilSC!

Join the thinkers, doers, and leaders who enjoy exploring and supporting the value of the humanities in South Carolina!

The Humanities CouncilSC is working harder than ever to create opportunities for all South Carolinians to engage in the humanities in their daily lives. Through public programs like our Speakers Bureau, humanities grants programs, and our annual SCBook Festival, we’re helping enrich lives in every county and corner of the state.

We can’t do it without you!

The Humanities CouncilSC receives funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities, but these funds cover only a portion of our programming expenses. To fulfill our commitments to the people of South Carolina and to meet the demand for new and diverse offerings statewide, we rely on the generous contributions of individuals, foundations, and corporations. Please consider becoming a partner in the work of your state Humanities Council by making a contribution today.
