Author Deborah Wiles at ChristmasVille in Rock Hill

On Friday, November 30, 2018, award-winning author Deborah Wiles will be featured at the ChristmasVille Festival in Rock Hill. Two workshops will be held for children and teachers in the Rock Hill School District, and a third event will be open to the public. SC Humanities helped support this program with a Fast Track Literary Grant.

Deborah Wiles is a children’s book author who has twice been a finalist for the National Book Award. Her published books include Each Little Bird That SingsRevolution, and most recently A Long Line of Cakes.

The public program featuring Deborah Wiles will take place at 4:00 p.m. on November 30 at the DiGiorgio Campus Center at Winthrop University (2020 Alumni Drive). Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at https://www.christmasvillerockhill.com/.
