“Justice for All” Traveling Exhibit in Columbia

The Center for Civil Rights History and Research at the University of South Carolina has created a traveling exhibit based on the archival exhibit “Justice for All: South Carolina and the American Civil Rights Movement” that was on display at the Hollings Special Collections Library from February – August 2019.  The exhibit will be on display in Columbia at Martin Luther King Jr. Park through August 21, 2022. SC Humanities supported this project with a Major Grant.

“Justice for All: South Carolina and the American Civil Rights Movement” will be on display at Martin Luther King Jr. Park from May 16 – August 21, 2022. Located at 2300 Greene Street in Columbia, the exhibit is viewable in the rec center on Mondays – Thursdays (7:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.), Fridays (7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.), Saturdays (10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.), and Sundays (2:00 – 7:00 p.m.).

Traveling trunks with materials and lesson plans for students are available. Groups may request a guided tour or a traveling trunk by emailing the Center, sccivilrights@sc.edu.
