Spring Museum Day

Celebrate the Horry County Museum and our local history! This special event day is free to the public and will feature various activities, demonstrations and information stations from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 18th. Bring your fossils to have them identified, learn about our natural history, and experience living history demonstrations of butter making and Colonial food ways. Information tables from local cultural institutions will be set up throughout the day for visitors to learn about some of the great history and resources our area has to offer. Be sure to join us at 1 PM for a special Quilts of Valor presentation where quilts will be awarded to veterans and active duty service members.  For a complete schedule of events for the day, call the Museum at 843-915-5320 or email hcgmuseum@horrycounty.org. The Museum is located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC. For more information about Museum programming, visit our website at www.horrycountymuseum.org.
