Fast Track Literary Grants

Fast Track Literary Grants are intended to support new or existing public literary programs such as (but not limited to) writers series, festivals, conferences, workshops, or writer’s residencies at schools. Awards are $5,000 or less. For the FY2025 deadlines, we will begin accepting Fast Track Literary Grant applications through our new online Grants Portal.

SC Humanities has now shifted to using an Online Grants Management System, managed by Foundant.

Major, Mini, Planning, and Fast Track Literary Grants will all be accepted via this online portal starting on November 1, 2024.

We highly recommend reviewing registration instructions, frequently asked questions, and other helpful information linked below before you begin working in the system.

UEI Requirement

In accordance with federal government policy, all organizations – including (but not limited to) nonprofit organizations, private schools, public school districts, and government entities – must provide a valid Unique Entity ID (UEI) to receive a SC Humanities grant award.

The UEI requirement replaced the DUNS number requirement, effective APRIL 4, 2022.
