Columbia Jewish Film Festival

The Jewish Cultural Arts Committee at the Katie & Irwin Kahn Jewish Community Center will present the 10th Annual Columbia Jewish Film Festival on March 20 – 24, 2010 at the Nickelodeon Theatre in Columbia. The Festival will screen six films, including the documentary Killing Kasztner which will be followed by a discussion forum featuring the guest scholar and documentary producer, Gaylen Ross. SC Humanities supported this project through a Mini Grant in February 2010.

Killing Kasztner examines the controversy of personal choices that  humans must make in times of great stress and will be presented on March 21, 2010 at 11:30 a.m., followed by the discussion forum. Other films being presented are: Eli and Ben, The Debt, Hello Goodbye, Lemon Tree, and Yoo Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg.
