The Lowcountry Reads for the Holidays Book Fair will include writing workshops, author talks, and a Children’s Corner. Featured authors include Mary Kay Andrews, South Carolina First Novel Prize Winner James McTeer, and noted young adult author John Thompson, among many others. Tickets to the book fair are $10, and pre-registration is recommended. Writing Workshops also require registration and are ticketed.

The event will take place at Christ Lutheran Church (829 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928). It is the only “book fair” in this corner of the state that focuses on lowcountry authors and provides an opportunity for independent authors to sell their books.
