Read Up, Greenville

Read Up, Greenville is a new annual celebration of Young Adult and Middle Grade books and authors. The event inaugural event will take place on Saturday, August 6 and will include book sales, author signings, panel discussions, and keynote speakers. South Carolina Humanities supported this program with a Fast Track Literary Grant.

Read Up, Greenville will feature over 25 diverse authors, including Beth Revis, Brendan Reichs, and Carrie Ryan. The day will include panels on a variety of topics, from graphic novels to young adult romance books. The majority of programs are free and open to the public, and keynote events will have a moderate ticket price of $7 per person.

The goal of Read Up, Greenville it so encourage youth to continue their love for reading and encourage non-readers to become readers.
