Patchwork Tales Storytelling Festival

York County Library will present the 18th annual Patchwork Tales Storytelling Festival on March 14 – 16, 2019. Attendees can experience the magic of storytelling through one-of-a-kind live performances from nationally known storytellers.  SC Humanities supported this program with a Fast Track Literary Grant.

York County Library’s Patchwork Tales Storytelling Festival began in 1996 with a goal to support reading and literacy through traditional storytelling and a variety of cultural arts. Held in Rock Hill, S.C., Patchwork Tales grew to a full three-day event for all ages, with award-winning national storytellers and musicians. In 2012, Patchwork Tales was temporarily suspended due to the economic downturn, but after hundreds of inquiries, York County Library is thrilled to bring it back another year.
