Five representatives of SC Humanities attended the 2010 National Humanities Conference in Albuquerque, NM on November 4-7, 2010: Executive Director Randy Akers, Assistant Director Paula Watkins, Board Chair Judy Bynum, Vice Chair Sara Sanders, and Board Member Andy Westbrook.
The South Carolina group attended numerous sessions on humanities programming, interacted with staff and board members from other humanities councils across the nation, and toured humanities venues in Albuquerque. SC Humanities is grateful for the opportunity to represent the humanities in South Carolina on a national stage.
