Join the thinkers, doers, and leaders who enjoy exploring and supporting the humanities in South Carolina!
SC Humanities is working harder than ever to create opportunities for all South Carolinians to engage in humanities-based cultural and educational opportunities. Through funded programs like our Speakers Bureau, Let’s Talk About It book discussion series, conferences, films, festivals, oral histories, Smithsonian traveling exhibits, and literary projects, we reach more than 250,000 people annually in both urban and rural settings.
SC Humanities receives funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities as well as individual, corporate, foundation, and institutional contributors. We receive no support from the state of South Carolina and are not a state agency. To fulfill our commitments to the people of South Carolina and to meet the demand for new and diverse offerings statewide, please consider becoming a partner in the work of SC Humanities by making a contribution today.
The Directors' Society
The Directors’ Society recognizes annual giving by former and current board members of SC Humanities. No one is in a better position to advocate for SC Humanities than its board alumni.
Institutions such as colleges and universities understand that liberal arts are important for students to develop their professional capabilities.
Thank you for supporting our mission!
