Holiday Swag Workshop with Roadside Blooms

Join Roadside Blooms at the Charleston Museum for a festive, hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own Lowcountry-inspired holiday swag. Using a lush mix of seasonal evergreens, native Southern grasses, and palms, you’ll craft a unique decoration perfect for hanging on your door. Taking inspiration from the Joseph Manigault House, which will be decorated for the holidays, participants will have the opportunity to take a self-guided tour of the house before crafting their swag in the beautiful outdoor garden of the Joseph Manigault House. All materials—including fresh greens, decorative accents, shears, and wire—are provided. Come celebrate the season with creativity and local flair.

Reservations required. Registration fee includes instruction, all materials, and admission to the Joseph Manigault House. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly.  In the event of inclement weather, workshop will move indoors.

Classes with insufficient enrollment may be canceled. Students will be notified in advance and full refunds or the opportunity to transfer to another workshop will be offered. Student cancellations must be requested 48 hours in advance for a refund minus $10 administration fee.  Full registration fee may be transferred to a future workshop or other adult program.  Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in a forfeiture of workshop fee.
