South Carolina Humanities, in partnership with the Edgefield County Library, is hosting a FREE grants writing workshop and invites staff and volunteers of South Carolina cultural organizations and nonprofit agencies to attend. Admission to the workshop is free, but pre-registration is REQUIRED. This workshop is especially targeting the counties of Edgefield, Aiken, Greenwood, Lexington, McCormick, and Saluda.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Edgefield County Library (address: 105 Courthouse Square, Edgefield, SC 29824).
Staff of SC Humanities will lead participants in an overview of general grants writing tips and techniques and then will highlight funding opportunities for cultural projects and other cultural resources. We will also offer feedback on project ideas and application drafts, time permitting. This workshop offers a unique learning opportunity for cultural organizations of all sizes and provides the opportunity for partnership building between local organizations with similar missions.
