Over time, Conroy transitioned successfully to prose, incorporating the lyrical and descriptive elements he most admired in poetry. This one-hour presentation explores Conroy’s early forays in poetry, some of his influences and teachers, the poetic nature of his famous prose, and his lifelong love of reading poetry.
